THE SLOW rate of progress to hit the 23 targets of the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework (GBF) by 2030, in order to put nature on a path to recovery, is setting off alarm bells, while the 2050 vision of “living in harmony with nature” seems to blur.
