Iran urges UNSC to condemn US maritime blockade, calls for its immediate removal
New York, IRNA – Iran has urged the UN Security Council to condemn as continued US aggression through a maritime blockade, demanding its immediate lifting and warning that the blockade, economic sanctions and threats against Iranian infrastructure violate the UN Charter and international law and pose serious humanitarian risks to civilians.
