Imperial Global, UK High Commission train 30 journalists in emerging technologies to strengthen science journalism
Thirty Ghanaian journalists have received training in emerging technologies under the UK Media Excellence for Emerging Technologies Fellowship, an initiative by Imperial Global and the British High Commission in Ghana to strengthen science journalism. The programme, now in its fourth year, forms part of the UK-Ghana Science, Technology and Innovation (ST&I) Strategy, which seeks to deepen cooperation between the two countries and improve public understanding of scientific developments. The training equipped participants with practical skills and knowledge in artificial intelligence (AI), climate change, digital tools and other emerging technologies.
