Lebanese report: Hezbollah raises alert level as disagreements emerge in talks With Israel
Hezbollah has raised its alert level in recent days amid concerns over a possible escalation with Israel or growing internal tensions in Lebanon, the Lebanese Al-Jadeed television channel reported. According to the report, the latest round of talks between Israeli and Lebanese military delegations, held Tuesday in Tampa, Florida, has concluded and is expected to resume tomorrow. During the discussions, disagreements emerged over who would have the authority to oversee the implementation of security arrangements in southern Lebanon. The report also claimed that the Lebanese government reserves the right to oppose any mechanism that would give Israel direct influence over the Lebanese military's movements and decisions in the south of the country.
