Rope rescue teams to search for remains of Lúðvík Pétursson
The Police Commissioner in the Suðurnes region has decided to send rescue personnel down into the fissure in Grindavík where Lúðvík Pétursson fell to his death while working in the Hóp neighbourhood in January 2024. The aim is to recover his remains.
