Social Development ordered to reinstate Oliphant after unfair dismissal ruling
The Department of Social Development has been ordered to reinstate former communications chief Lumka Oliphant and pay her R1.53 million in back pay after a bargaining council ruled her dismissal procedurally and substantively unfair. Oliphant is due to return to work on November 1.
