Johor lorry passenger punches Singapore driver after he allegedly makes illegal U-turn
An angry lorry passenger allegedly hit the driver of a Singapore-registered car on Jalan Sutera in Johor Bahru, on Saturday (Oct 17) for cutting in front of him with a U-turn.A video of this confrontation was uploaded to the SG Road Vigilante Facebook page the same evening and has since garnered over 490,000 views and more than 500 reactions as at Monday (Oct 19) afternoon. In the video, a Singapore-registered car can be seen cutting across an opposite lane of traffic, making a U-turn in front of a red lorry. The lorry's passenger then opens his door in an attempt to confront the driver, but decides against it.Instead, he tosses a bottlecap-like object at the car, which bounces off the vehicle's rear and rolls out of the road.In response, the driver cuts into the lorry's lane briefly and stops. This is the last straw for the lorry passenger, who flings open his door — simultaneously, the driver-side door of the Singapore-registered car also opens, but quickly closes as the passenger rushes over.
