‘My Grandmother is an NPP Founding member’ – Ekua Amoakoh reveals family’s NPP roots
Dr Ekua Amoakoh, spokesperson for former Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia and the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) Health Committee, has revealed that her grandmother was a founding member of the party and served as one of its early treasurers in the Ashanti Region. Speaking in a personality profile interview on JoyNews’ PM Express with Emefa Adeti, Dr Amoakoh said she spent considerable time with her grandmother while growing up and learnt a great deal from her. She described her grandmother as a politician who played a role in the NPP’s early organisation.
