1 taken to hospital after Rolls-Royce, BYD accident near Boat Quay
The drivers of a Rolls-Royce Phantom and BYD Sealion electric vehicle (EV) are now assisting with ongoing police investigations, after an accident near Clarke Quay left a 72-year-old woman injured.The incident happened at about 2.40pm on Friday (Oct 9), at the junction of New Bridge Road and Carpenter Street.Photographs and videos of the incident seen by AsiaOne show the Rolls-Royce with damages to its radiator grille and front bumper.Meanwhile, the passenger doors on the BYD EV's left side show crumple damage. Its airbags are also deployed.
