Malaysian motorcyclist injured after accident with tipper truck on BKE
A 36-year-old male motorcyclist was taken to the hospital after his motorcycle was involved in an accident with a tipper truck along the Bukit Timah Expressway (BKE) on Thursday (Oct 8) afternoon.The incident happened at about 4.50pm along BKE towards Woodlands.Photographs posted by SG Road Vigilante on its Facebook show a Malaysia-registered motorcycle lying on its side between the two rightmost lanes of the expressway.A motorcyclist is seen standing next to the fallen motorcycle with his leg bloodied. The tipper truck involved in the accident is stopped in front of the motorcycle, with its male driver standing next to it.Broken parts, likely from the motorcycle, is seen between the two vehicles.In response to AsiaOne's queries, the police and Singapore Civil Defence Force confirmed that the male motorcyclist was taken conscious to Woodlands Hospital.The police added that the motorcyclist is assisting with ongoing police investigations.
