Two Singapore brothers give back by repairing homes for families in need
After seeing homes in poor condition during repair jobs, two Singapore brothers decided to use their skills and business earnings to help families in need.Brothers Muhamad Khairul Anwar Mohd Rosli, 40, and Muhammad Redha Jamali, 23, posted a TikTok video in August inviting the public to nominate families for free home improvement works, Berita Harian (BH) reported on Tuesday (Oct 6).Within a month, about 30 people contacted K2 Handymen to nominate themselves or other families for assistance, BH reported.The company provides electrical, appliance installation, carpentry and other home maintenance services.K2 Handymen has built a following on TikTok, where the brothers give viewers a behind-the-scenes look at their work, from electrical wiring and water heater installations to carpentry and household repairs. Applications were assessed based on the condition of the home and the family's circumstances, with priority given to elderly residents and single mothers facing financial or health challenges.
