City blames muddy sediment for discoloured water entering Milnerton Lagoon
Residents raised concerns after discoloured water entered Milnerton Lagoon on 5 October. The City of Cape Town said the discharge was muddy sediment from dewatering work at the Sanddrift East pump station, not a toxic spill.
