Right-wing groups urge Netanyahu to shut down French Consulate in Jerusalem
A number of right-wing organizations have called on Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to order the closure of France’s Consulate General in Jerusalem, following the closure of the British Consulate in the city this morning and the departure of 20 British diplomats from Israel. In a letter signed by the heads of several organizations, including the Sovereignty Movement, Regavim, My Israel, Ad Kan, Artzenu and the Kohelet Policy Forum, the groups called for France and Britain to be treated equally in light of what they described as anti-Israel actions.
