Limpopo poet Solly ‘Soetry’ Ramatswi wins national slam title
Limpopo poet Solly “Soetry” Ramatswi has won the Poetry Africa National Slam Jam with “Born Free”, a poem questioning what freedom means for South Africans born after 1994. He will represent the country at the World Poetry Slam Championship in Japan in 2027.
