ESA takes Iceland to court over Protocol 35
The EFTA Surveillance Authority (ESA) has decided to bring infringement proceedings against Iceland before the EFTA Court over Protocol 35 to the EEA Agreement. ESA argues that Icelandic law does not adequately ensure that EEA rules implemented in Iceland prevail when they conflict with other provisions of Icelandic law.
