Likud attacks Lapid: His statement was prepared in advance, unrelated to the meeting
The Likud party criticized opposition leader Yair Lapid after the Prime Minister’s Office issued a statement following his meeting with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. The party claimed that Lapid issued a political statement attacking Netanyahu just minutes after the meeting ended. “He left the meeting with Prime Minister Netanyahu at 11:39 p.m. At 11:41 p.m., just two minutes later, at record speed, he issued a lengthy statement that was entirely a political attack on the Prime Minister," Likud said. “Either he writes at the speed of light, or the statement was prepared in advance and had nothing to do with the briefing he received. So much for the late-night Lapid."
