Mukurus Bailey Bridge construction to connect 6,000 residents to Highlands Highway
The Wabag District Development Authority (WDDA) has finally started on the construction of the Mukurus Bridge in the Mai local level government area of Wabag District that will compliment a pilot tract road project joining Mukuris village into the main Highlands Highway. WDDA Chairman Dr Lino Tom clarified that the delay was due to the lack of availability of an excavator as all belonging to WDDA were engaged in more than seven road construction projects simultaneously underway throughout the district.
