Kurdistan says it will have no air defense after coalition withdrawal
Iraq’s Kurdistan Region will be left without its own air defense system after the withdrawal of US-led coalition forces on September 30, the Ministry of Peshmerga Affairs warned, saying the federal government in Baghdad bears primary responsibility for protecting the Region’s airspace.
