Netanyahu condemns Samaria riots: 'Prosecute the rioters to the fullest extent of the law'
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu condemned on Tuesday morning the violent riots that took place overnight in Samaria and the attacks on security forces who arrived at the scene. "The handful of rioters does not represent the law-abiding settler population in Judea and Samaria; it does a tremendous injustice and interferes with our forces in carrying out their mission," Netanyahu said. Netanyahu expressed his support for the IDF soldiers and Border Police officers operating in the area and called on law enforcement authorities to take action against those involved. "I fully support the IDF soldiers and Border Police officers who are working to thwart terrorism and maintain security, and I call on law enforcement authorities to prosecute the rioters to the fullest extent of the law," he stated.
