3 men, 1 woman arrested for fighting outside Geylang eatery
Three men and a woman were arrested after a fight broke out outside an eatery in Geylang last Wednesday (Sept 23).The incident happened outside Dongbei Jiaozi Wang along Geylang Road at around 1am, Shin Min Daily News reported.A video uploaded to YouTube channel Complaint Singapore shows four people pushing and pulling one another along a walkway, with one person appearing to be pinned to the ground.Two people in red uniforms are also seen trying to break up the fight.A restaurant employee told Shin Min that the people involved in the scuffle were not customers, adding: "I don't know what had happened."Meanwhile, a grocery shop owner in the vicinity said he had closed his store at around 11pm and did not witness the incident. As there are several eateries and bars in the area, he noted that drunken patrons sometimes caused trouble on weekends.In response to AsiaOne's queries, the police said they were alerted to a fight at 386 Geylang Road at about 1am on Sept 23. Three men, aged between 30 and 42, and a 31-year-old woman were arrested for affray.
