King Salman sends invitation to Emir of Kuwait, King of Bahrain to attend 2nd Gulf-European Summit
JEDDAH — Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman has sent written messages to emir of Kuwait and king of Bahrain inviting them to attend the Second Gulf-European Summit, scheduled to be held in Saudi Arabia in October. Prince Sultan bin Saad, Saudi ambassador to Kuwait, delivered the King’s message to Emir of Kuwait Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah during a meeting in Kuwait City. Saudi Ambassador to Bahrain Naif Al-Sudairi handed King Salman’s message to King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa during a meeting at Sakhir Palace in Manama. King Hamad expressed his thanks and appreciation to King Salman for the invitation, praising the deep-rooted and distinguished fraternal relations between the two kingdoms and their continuous commitment to supporting and strengthening them at all levels for the benefit of their peoples. King Hamad also expressed his pride over King Salman’s efforts to strengthen Bahraini-Saudi relations and Saudi Arabia’s role in advancing the system of joint Gulf action. He wished the Gulf-European summit every success in strengthening the close partnership between the two sides and consolidating the strong historical cooperation between the GCC countries and the European Union countries in a manner that serves their common interests.
