IDF foils attempted smuggling of weapons and ammunition on eastern border
Overnight (Monday), IDF observation posts and the Israeli Air Force’s Aerial Control Unit identified a drone crossing from the east into Israeli territory in an attempt to smuggle weapons. Following the identification, IDF soldiers were dispatched to the area and located the drone, which was carrying nine Kalashnikov rifles, magazines, and a handgun. The weapons were transferred to the security forces for further handling.
