Kyrgyzstan sells 2.4 tonnes of gold for $341 million in one month
Kyrgyzstan’s gold sector saw a sharp turnaround in July 2026, with the country exporting nearly 2.4 tonnes of unwrought gold worth $341.6 million after six months of limited exports. The sector generated a surplus of $206.6 million, data from the National Statistical Committee say.
