Meta to charge Kenyan businesses for WhatsApp utility and service messages from Oct. 1
From October 1, 2026, Meta will levy a $0.0040 fee per delivered utility message on Kenyan firms using the WhatsApp Business Platform, with a 1,000‑message free allowance for service replies.
