NVPC names former MHA permanent secretary Pang Kin Keong as chairman from Oct 1
Pang Kin Keong, former permanent secretary for home affairs, will take over as chairman of the National Volunteer and Philanthropy Council (NVPC) board from Oct 1, the national agency announced on Monday (Sept 28).He takes over from Seah Chin Siong, who became NVPC's board chairman in January 2021.Pang, 60, recently took over as chairman of the Land Transport Authority board on Sept 1. He retired from administrative service on June 1, having spent 35 years in the public sector.In its statement, NVPC said that Pang brings extensive leadership experience from his 35-year career, noting that he held senior appointments, including as permanent secretary in the home affairs, law and transport ministries.
