Malaysian motorcyclist injured in 3-vehicle accident along BKE towards Woodlands Checkpoint
A 34-year-old male Malaysian motorcyclist was injured in a three-vehicle accident along the Bukit Timah Expressway (BKE) on Saturday (Sept 26) morning.The accident, involving two cars and a Malaysia-registered motorcycle, took place at about 11.50am along BKE towards Woodlands Checkpoint.A video of the accident posted on social media shows the the motorcyclist lying face-down along the road as other motorists stop to render assistance.His motorcycle is seen stopped across two lanes just behind a white car, which has damages to its rear bumper and fender. Debris can be seen strew along the rightmost lane behind the said car.The police and Singapore Civil Defence Force told AsiaOne that the 34-year-old motorcyclist was taken conscious to Khoo Teck Puat Hospital.A 53-year-old male car driver is assisting with ongoing police investigations.[[nid:746121 editor@asiaone.com
