'Agitated' man damages Mister Mobile fixtures at VivoCity; retailer urges public not to speculate
Local mobile phone repair and retail shop Mister Mobile has asked the public not to speculate after footage has gone viral of a man damaging fixtures at their outlet in VivoCity.The video uploaded by Sgfollowsall on Friday (Sept 25) shows the incident, reportedly from around 2.30pm that day.A man in a red t-shirt standing outside the shop can be seen throwing something at a shopkeeper, before pulling at fixtures on the counter.The man can then be seen handling a shop standee before getting into a physical altercation with a security guard who tries to stop him.Another man seemingly deescalates the situation and leads the man in red away from the store with a hand rubbing his back."All I know is he started venting his anger on the Mister Mobile staff and he also started hitting the VivoCity staff," the person who submitted the video to Sgfollowsall shared.A comment on the video wondered why nobody at the shop tried to stop him as he damaged their fixtures.Others speculated on the man's mental health.[[nid:745134
