Former Hela Governor arrested
FORMER Hela Governor Francis Potape has been arrested and charged in Port Moresby over allegations that evidence was fabricated and witnesses were procured to support an election petition filed after the 2017 National General Election. Assistant Commissioner of Police (NCD and Central) Commander Benjamin Turi confirmed Mr Potape was being held at Boroko Police Station and said police bail was not available because the arrest was made under a warrant.
