NTUC Enterprise's Tan Hee Teck named HPB chairman from Oct 1
Chairman of NTUC Enterprise and president of the Singapore National Employers Federation (SNEF) Tan Hee Teck will take over as chairman of the Health Promotion Board (HPB) on Oct 1, the Ministry of Health (MOH) and HPB announced on Thursday (Sept 24).He takes over from Wong Kim Yin, who became the board's chairman in April 2024. Tan has over 20 years of strategic leadership and management experience across business, public and community sectors.He was formerly chairman and chief executive officer of Resorts World Sentosa and chief executive officer of Genting Singapore.At NTUC Enterprise, Tan oversaw the group's social mission, including its impact businesses that support working families.In his capacity as president of SNEF, he is said to have advocated for small and medium enterprises, promoted workforce development and assumed a key role in the Singapore Economic Resilience Taskforce, MOH and HPB noted.
