From politics to property: Ex-Workers' Party MP Faisal Manap starts new career with ERA
Former Workers’ Party (WP) Member of Parliament (MP) Faisal Manap has started a new career in real estate, joining ERA Real Estate Singapore as a property agent.The 51-year-old father of three was introduced as one of ERA’s latest associates in a Facebook (FB) post on Monday (Sept 21)."Having been on the ground serving his constituents, and with those valuable experiences will bring much assurance that he'll serve with nothing less than sheer honesty," Mohd Nizam Nawawi, Senior Division Director at ERA, wrote in the FB post caption.The post featured Faisal alongside three other men in front of an ERA sign welcoming him as the real estate company's latest associate.Checks by AsiaOne showed that he was registered as a real estate agent on Sept 16, this year. ERA’s website also lists Faisal as an associate. Undergoing trainingFaisal is currently receiving mentorship and gaining experience through on-the-job training, according to Berita Harian (BH).The new role also gives him greater flexibility with his working hours, the report said.
