‘Must act now’: Kashmiri leader urges UNHRC action over ‘worsening’ rights situation in PoJK, PoGB
Sardar Shaukat Ali Kashmiri has appealed to the UN Human Rights Council for urgent intervention regarding deteriorating human rights conditions in Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir. He emphasised the need for an independent investigation into alleged violations and arbitrary detentions, while also voicing concerns about the issues surrounding political representation and land rights in Pakistan-occupied Gilgit-Baltistan.
