Over 500 cases in 2 months: Doxxing, online harassment top complaints handled by new Online Safety Commission
Just 62 days after starting operations on June 29, the Online Safety Commission (OSC) has received over 500 reports and resolved more than 90 per cent of eligible reports, said Minister for Digital Development and Information Josephine Teo."What this initial progress suggests to us is that there is really a need to provide better support to victims of online harms, and today the OSC is able to do so," Teo told the media in an interview ahead of the launch of her ministry's new new podcast series Lets Table It, which premiered on YouTube, Spotify and Apple Podcasts on Tuesday (Sept 22).
