Car driver fails to give way to Sengkang General Hospital ambulance with sirens on along CTE
A single minute may mean the difference between life, death, or permanent disability during a medical emergency.On Friday (Sept 18), a car driver was seen not giving way to a Sengkang General Hospital emergency ambulance, which had its sirens flashing.A minute-long video of the incident, which happened at about 11.30pm along the Central Expressway's Kampong Java Tunnel, was caught on a motorcyclist's mounted camera.The video shows the blue car driving in front of the ambulance and maintaining its speed.Based on the video, the traffic was light, and the driver had several opportunities to move away from the rightmost lane.The motorcyclist was even seen riding up next to the car to signal for the driver to change lanes.It took nearly a full-minute before the driver finally did so.
