Reckless driver allegedly flees scene after cutting 3 lanes and causing Commonwealth Ave crash
A driver allegedly cut across three lanes on Commonwealth Avenue before colliding with another car and driving off without stopping.The incident took place on Saturday (Sept 19) around 4.50 pm, according to a Facebook post by SG Road Vigilante on Sunday.The post included dashcam footage showing a white Hyundai Ioniq 6 emerging from a turn on the left side of the road.The car appears to move across three lanes as it travels on Commonwealth Avenue.The dashcam footage then shows a car jamming the brakes and swerving in an attempt to avoid the Hyundai.However, the two vehicles appear to make contact, with the Hyundai continuing ahead without stopping.According to the post, the driver of the dashcam car said they were travelling on the middle lane of Commonwealth Avenue when the Hyundai turned up from Stirling Walk.The driver also alleged that the Hyundai subsequently drove off and "refused to stop".A police report has since been made over the alleged hit-and-run, according to the post.AsiaOne has reached out to police for more information.[[nid:745284
