Buccaneers WR Antonio Brown ruled out for NFC Championship Game

Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady will be without one of his favorite targets during Sunday's NFC Championship Game against the Green Bay Packers.

Bucs head coach Andy Reid announced Friday that Antonio Brown has been ruled out for Sunday's contest, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

Brown avoided a major knee injury during last weekend's divisional-round matchup against the New Orleans Saints. He caught one pass for 10 yards against the Saints before exiting.

In eight regular-season games, the 32-year-old caught 45 passes for 483 yards and four touchdowns.

Brady will now have to rely on Chris Godwin, Mike Evans, Rob Gronkowski, Scotty Miller and Cameron Brate to get the job done on offense.
