NBA forces Lonzo Ball to cover up Big Baller Brand tattoo

The NBA doesn’t have strict restrictions regarding what players can wear during games. It’s more of a progressive league — at least until one of the Association’s star youngsters attempts to promote his father’s company on national television.

In his first game back from injury, Los Angeles Lakers guard Lonzo Ball was seen covering up his Big Baller Brand tattoo while taking on the Golden State Warriors in Las Vegas on Wednesday night.

There’s a reason for this. Per TMZ Sports, the NBA had requested that Ball cover up his body art.

This rule isn’t specific to Ball. The NBA previously forced Cleveland Cavaliers guard JR Smith to cover up the “Supreme” logo tattoo on his right leg. League officials told Smith that he would be fined for every game it was not covered up.

Association rules indicate that any body art depicting brand names can’t be visible when players are on the court. Obviously, the same rules apply to Ball here.
