Ice Cube’s Big3 professional basketball league has been a major success in its first two seasons.
The idea behind the league was initially to offer fans an ability to watch good basketball during the NBA’s slow time, but as the startup began to gain in popularity, some of the best NBA players from previous generations signed on.
According to co-founder Jeff Kwatinetz, that could include legendary former Los Angeles Lakers star Kobe Bryant.

That’s a whole lot of crazy right there. Set to turn 40 later this week, Bryant could still perform at a high level in the NBA.
Apparently, it seems that he’d rather give it a go in the BIG3 rather than team up with LeBron James on the Lakers. At the very least, that’s what one of the league’s head honchos has been told.
