Iron Fist Season 2
Netflix

The exact date of Iron Fist's return, and a first look at what season two has in store, was revealed by Netflix at Comic-Con 2018. Having now starred in his own show, teamed up with his fellow Marvel Netflix heroes in The Defenders and making some well-received appearances in Luke Cage season 2, billionaire kung-fu crime fighter Danny Rang will make his return to Netflix in the second season of his own series Sept. 7.

If you're among those attending Comic-Con, the trailer came as no surprise given the Iron Fist logo is all over the convention and San Diego itself.

The first season of Iron Fist was met with a tepid response by both critics and many fans, but for those whose complaints were focused on the Iron Fist's lack of ability to actually use his fists, this trailer's for you.

According to sister site GameSpot, during the panel Jessica Henwick (who plays Colleen Wing) teased the Daughters of the Dragon, a fan favorite duo consisting of Colleen Wing and Misty Knight. GameSpot said of the panel:

(One) exclusive clip showed Misty and Colleen fighting together, before breaking off into separate battles. Misty uses her metal arm to knock an assailant off a motorcycle, while Colleen fights off two other skilled women inside.

Yet another clip showed the two engaged in a fight with the machete-wielding Typhoid Mary, Eve's character, a comics villain who's new to Marvel's live action universe.

"Seeing these two badasses together, I think these fans are going to love," Henwick said.

Some fans were excited to see the direction taken by the trailer, though as ComicBook.com discovered, not all Marvel fans are won over quite yet.
