Campaign Action
Whenever you see the name Kellyanne Conway trending at the top of Twitter, you know one of two things have happened: Either there was another massacre at Bowling Green, or she’s been on television peddling an utter load of codswallop in defense of her boss. The good news here is, the people of Bowling Green will live to see another day:
White House counselor Kellyanne Conway said Monday that President Trump is perplexed that fired FBI director James B. Comey is receiving so much attention for what she characterized as a “revisionist” version of his limited interactions with her boss.
“The president is very confounded that this person is always able to divert the spotlight to him,” Conway said during an appearance on “Good Morning America” on ABC. “He was a very deft way of making things about him.”
Conway went on to say that Comey “struggled to answer basic questions,” that he’s giving “a revisionist version of history,” (and, of course that Trump “hardly knew the man”).
Projection, thy name is Kellyanne.
