This bronze animal has two horns which mean to keep away from evil. It has strong body and sharp tooth with flexibility lags and waist. It seemed ready to tear anything raided. Exquisite patterns on it show peoples superb skills and full of imagination in East Han. Many stone and jade animals keeping away evil can be found, but bronze one is rare. A similar one in Yu Tai Museum which is mainly about Han culture decided as the first class cultural relic, so you can see the value of this one. , 11 x 5 1/2 x 8«. Estimate: $ 100,000 - $ 150,000- China Stamp 1897. Estimate: $ 60,000 - $ 200,000- Zhu Wen is used to decorate Palace Housing in two ends of main backbone. In a big Palace house there are only two Zhu Wen. In Ming & Qing Dynasty, Yellow glazed tile specialized to be used by Imperial family. This Zhu Wen is mainly yellow-colored with green decoration. Its in a shape of well carved three dragons with a bigger one opening the mouth to main backbone of the house, another circled above, and the smaller at the back with beautiful saute covered all over their bodies. This Zhu Wen is well preserved without much damage. It maybe belongs to the Palace of Ming Dynasty judging from shape of big opening mouth of the big dragon. 23»x19".
