Michael Kors hosted a celebration in Los Angeles to honor actress Kate Hudson’s appointment as the Goodwill Ambassador for the United Nations World Food Program.Fashion designer Michael Kors is making a contribution to the “The Zero Hunger Challenge,” which is currently underway, and in which the United Nations World Food Program (WFP) is a major participant. In an effort to support the WFP and its work, the designer hosted a party in honor of Kate Hudson. The event importantly celebrated the naming of the actress as Goodwill Ambassador for the WFP. The party saw a number of stars and models in attendance including, Gladys Knight, Sofia Vergara, and Olivia Munn.The day of the party saw Kors and Hudson participating in a talk hosted by Natalie Morales and World Food Program at UCLA.Hudson has spent time visiting various countries that are included in the purview of the WFP and went to Cambodia where school children were fed under the auspices of the organization. In 2015, Kors additionally launched a “Watch Hunger Stop” campaign in collaboration with Hudson, which has been renewed this year. As part of the campaign, the designer has roped in artist Eli Sudbrack I AVAF, who helped create a T-shirt and a Special-Edition Runway Watch.
