FOX’s The Simpsons is known for predicting huge events, long before they actually occur in real life.Just like the show predicted Lady Gaga doing a Super Bowl halftime show and the Donald Trump presidency, The Simpsons hit the nail on the head eight years ago predicting a gold-medal run for the USA men’s curling team.The episode was entitled “Boy Meets Curl,” and Homer and Marge led Team USA to a gold medal, beating out Sweden and Russia in that episode to claim the top prize. Obviously the show didn’t get this prediction 100 percent correct — instead of Russia, Switzerland got bronze this time around — but it’s impossible not to be blow away at this prediction, anyway.
