We need to forge alliances that cut across racial and ethnic lines in order to move forward, together, and defeat that which will destroy us all if we fail to take action. Coalition-building isn’t easy, even among those who have an oppressor in common—yet it can be done.The person who most embodied that ability, for me, is not well-known, even in progressive circles.
