To ensure Asian customers identify more closely with its brand and offerings Hublot has tied up with local DJ/Producer MYRNE who is based in Singapore. The 23-year-old MYRNE who goes by the real name of Manfred Lim is no stranger to the music scene in the country since his debut in 2015.MYRNE has continued to make waves, especially in the electronic dance music scene. His creations which are a blend of R&B, future pop, and mainstage energy have already attracted international attention. He was the first Singapore-based musician to perform alongside internationally popular EDM musicians at Belgium’s iconic Tomorrowland festival and also at Ultra Miami in 2018.Announcing the partnership with MYRNE, Hublot in its press release stated that it was “the story of Hublot & MYRNE” and it served to “connect the past and the future, tradition, and innovation.” Hublot’s CEO Ricardo Guadalupe also stressed that the brand “was not breaking with the past. On the contrary, we are paying homage to it by connecting it to the future.” To MYRNE, who has been classically trained from a young age, music is about pushing the boundaries of communicating through sound and he was also signed to Diplo’s Mad Decent label.
