Lobmeyr, Vienna c. 1900 (Ru). Estimate: EUR 14,000 (USD 16,000)- A large group - “hunter on horseback”, porcelain, white, glazed, hunter in baroque clothes. Holding his gun and the reins in his hands, his hound running on his side, the base marked H. Meisel, height 63 cm, length 60 cm, depth 24 cm, Rosenthal, Germany, green mark 1938, model no. 842, designed by Hugo Meisel, this model is a unique piece (Ru). Estimate: EUR 12,000 (USD 14,000)- A magnificent courtly tiled stove,white, glazed, rectangular form, smooth base, well-proportioned body with defined and tiered elements, decorated with all-round gilt frame with moulded shells, bands and rocailles, sprigs of leaves, bead-and-dart strip, acanthus leaf festoons, rosettes, palmette in acanthus leaves, palmette frieze, lesenes and volutes with matching gold decor, surmounted by an amphora as finial with gilt fluting and egg-and-dart frieze, back-loaded, width 125 cm, total height 328 cm, base and bottom part height 130 cm, upper part height 140 cm, top with vase height 58 cm, professionally restored, re-gilded with 23k gold leaf, the gilt decorations are reminiscent of the state rooms and tiled stoves in the Imperial Palace in Vienna, Austria, c. 1780-1790 (Ru).
