The lavish slightly oval shield-like medallion display smooth curving quatrefoils and lush emerald green swaths that are surrounded by protective latched appendages. The «Medallion» Ushak type is one of a hand full of the most classical Ushak designs from this period. Fine weave and well preserved colors. 370 x 195 cm. Estimate DKK 650,000 - DKK 650,001 ($99,231 - 99,231)- A Louis XV gilt and patinated bronze Elephant clock with gilt bronze mounted, tortoiseshell music box, the circular white enamel dial with Roman and Arabic numbers and calendar and written weekdays, silk thread suspension, striking on a single bell, with outside count wheel, the clock work surmounted by a putto flanked by foliage, supported by an elephant with raised trunk, on scrolling rockwork base, the bombe-shaped base containing the musical mechanism playing six tunes on twelve airs every hour or at will, the tortoiseshell veneered base mounted with gilt bronze borders cast and chiseled with gadrooning and foliage, the corners with scrolling foliate mounts terminated by scrolled feet, the front with trellis work, the back with a hinged door, the sides with shield-shaped panels with trellis work. Estimate DKK 500,000 - DKK 600,000 ($76,332 – 91,598)- A pair of Bavarian gilt wood Rococo corner consoles, almost identical sizes, each with curved imitated marble top above carved apron consisting of large scrolls and shells of various shapes and openwork rocaille carving decorated with imitation of trelliswork, polychrome festoon of flowers and leaves running from the apron along the slightly curved legs to the final carved base with large openwork cartouche.
