Yuan 1280–1368. H. 33 cm. Estimate: DKK 1,000,000 - DKK 1,500,000 ($ 152,604 - $ 228,906)- A Chinese 18-armed gilt bronze figure of Avalokitesvara, seated on a lotus throne in dhyanasana, wearing a richly engraved mantle and robe, with seven outstretched pairs of arms holding various items a.o. nectar vase, dharma wheel, sword, two pairs of arms placed in front, one pair holding a book and a crown, the other pair with hands in a mudra, hair styled in a central knot and wearing a pierced crown. Ming 1368-1644. Total weight c. 42800 g. H. without throne c. 52 cm. H. with throne c. 67 cm. Estimate: DKK 800,000 - DKK 1,200,000 ($ 122,083 - $ 183,125)- A late Qing dynasty signed Beijing silk and metal thread carpet, Northeast China. Centre and corner designs with dragon motifs on gilt-metal thread foundation, red field with lotus flowers and leafs surrounded by rock and wave border. Signed: Tian Tan Yu Yong (Temple of Heaven, The Forbidden City). The temple of heaven was the Imperial place for the emperor to pray for good harvest every year. Late Qing dynasty, 19th century. 305 x 245 cm. Estimate: DKK 200,000 - DKK 200,001 ($ 30,520 - $ 30,520)- A Chinese gilt bronze figure of Guanyin with remains of gilt and red paint, seated with a sceptre, the face with a serene expression adorned with a high crown centered by Amitabha Buddha and the chest with elaborate jewels, supported on a separately cast lotus throne flanked by two acolytes between a Buddhist kundika and a kalavinka bird.
