Indiana’s Republican attorney general, Curtis Hill, has been elected vice chair of the national Republican Attorneys General Association. This comes about three weeks after the Marion County Prosecutor’s Office announced that it would not be pursuing criminal charges against Hill. Special Prosecutor Dan Sigler told a press conference on October 23 that, after an investigation, which you can read the results of here, he thought that he did not have enough evidence to pursue charges against Hill based on reports from numerous women who said he was drunk and sexually inappropriate with them at an after-work party. The Star reported Reardon said that at the party, Hill “put his hands on her back, slid them down her back, put them under her clothes, and grabbed her buttocks.” She repeatedly told him to “back off,” but he came up to her later and again reached under her clothing, touching her against her will. DaSilva, McLemore, and Lozano also encountered a reportedly drunken Hill that night, and all had similar tales of unwanted advances and inappropriate physical contact.
