Vacheron Constantin hosted an event at the iconic Abbey Road Studios to mark the release of its Fiftysix Collection of timepieces which was announced earlier this year.At the release event for the Fiftysix Collection of timepieces at Abbey Road Studios Vacheron Constantin, the luxury watchmaker, was at hand to treat around 150 guests to a memorable evening of entertainment, and a glimpse into its watch making history. A performance by Benjamin Clementine formed the centerpiece for the evening and saw the singer belt out the song “Eternity”. The song importantly marks the partnership that the watch manufacturer has entered into with Abbey Road Studios where bands such as the Beatles once recorded.Clementine is also currently heading the communication campaign launched by Vacheron Constantin. At the special performance held at Abbey Road Studios Clementine provided the main portion of the entertainment seated at a piano while five strings provided the backup. The latest timepiece in the Fiftysix Collection was also presented during the event while music was played in the background. The Fiftysix Tourbillon will be added to the Day-Date, Self-winding and Complete Calendar timepieces which were announced at the start of the year.A hundred journalists from all over the globe attended the event and aligned activities that were spread over three days. The activities scheduled by Vacheron Constantin, the oldest watch manufacturer in the world, included a master class in the martial art of bartitsu, spending time in Soho while vinyl hunting and a tour through locations that were featured in famous albums and associated photographs.Click on the slideshow to the event.http://www.blouinartinfo.comFounder: Louise Blouin Read more
