Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell has yet to personally address American traitor Donald Trump's remarks following his Surrender Summit with Vladimir Putin. But he has sent out his spokesman to issue a statement on his behalf. «As the Leader has said many times, Russia is not our friend, and he agrees with the findings of the intelligence community regarding Russia’s efforts to interfere in our elections. Those positions have not changed.” Apparently McConnell accepts the findings of the U.S. intelligence community, which is a bit of a turn around. Because before the election, back in September of 2016, when the U.S. intelligence community was telling the Obama administration and the leadership of the Congress that Russia was at that very moment interfering in the election, he blocked the administration from releasing that information to the public. Back then, he expressed his »doubts about the underlying intelligence and made clear to the administration that he would consider any effort by the White House to challenge the Russians publicly an act of partisan politics."
